Chiharu Kataishi is a Japanese voice actress born on April 18, 1963, in Saitama Prefecture. Her birth name is Röttger Chiharu, reflecting a German parentage. Her career is closely associated with the talent agency Aoni Production, where she was a member during her early active years. She stepped away from the industry in 1997, retiring from voice acting. However, after a long hiatus, she returned to the profession and officially rejoined Aoni Production on September 1, 2017.
