Arturo Mercado Jr. is a prominent Mexican voice actor and dubbing director with a career spanning over four decades, recognized for his extensive work in anime, animation, and live-action dubbing. Born Arturo Mercado Leonel de Cervantes on November 29, 1974, in Mexico City, he comes from a renowned family of voice actors, being the third generation in the profession. He began his training in dubbing in 1979 at Estudios Sonoros Mexicanos under the direction of his grandmother and has also worked in commercial voice-over since 1981.

Mercado Jr. has built a prolific career in anime dubbing, lending his voice to a wide array of significant characters. He is known for his role as Tatsumi Aragaki in both Megalobox and its sequel, Megalobox 2: Nomad. In the Pokémon franchise, he voiced the character Brock in several of the early films, including Pokémon 4Ever and Pokémon Heroes, as well as in a substantial number of episodes.
