Hetty Heyting

Description
Hetty Heyting is a Dutch actress, voice actress, writer, and theater maker, born on October 19, 1953. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Amsterdam in 1976, which marked the start of her career in Dutch entertainment.

Heyting is well-known for her extensive work in voice acting, providing the Dutch voices for numerous characters in animated series and films. Her voice work includes the title role in the Dutch dub of the anime series Mrs. Pepperpot, known as Vrouwtje Theelepel, for which she also performed the theme song. She voiced the character Candy in the series Glitter Force. Heyting's other prominent anime and animation roles include Zoey, Dextette (the female Pokédex), and Vivian Meridian in various Pokémon series, as well as roles in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia as Tigrerra, Beyblade as Miriam, and Hamtaro as Auntie Viv and Katja. She also voiced Mrs. Suliman in the Netflix Dutch dub of Howl's Moving Castle and the Witch of the West in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Her voice can also be heard in Dutch versions of The Fairly OddParents, where she voiced Timmy's mom and Chester, Cow and Chicken, Ratatouille, and Codename: Kids Next Door.

Her career has been marked by recurring collaborations with fellow Dutch actors. She frequently worked with Jan Simon Minkema and Marnix Kappers, with whom she shared multiple roles in the children's television series De Familie Knots, a show she also created and wrote. Early in her career, she was a member of the children's cabaret group Potvoordrie alongside Beatrijs Sluijter and Jan Simon Minkema.

Beyond her voice acting, Heyting has a wide range of achievements. She is a prolific writer, having created scripts for television series such as De Familie Knots, Switch, and Steil achterover, as well as for episodes of the crime series Baantjer. She has also written children's books and worked extensively in radio and theater, creating and performing in numerous stage productions.
