Tony Fusaro
Description
Tony Fusaro is an Italian voice actor and former television personality, primarily recognized for his work in dubbing anime series for Italian audiences during the late 1970s and 1980s. His most noted role in animation is providing the Italian voice for the protagonist Ken 'Falco' Hayabusa in the 1976 anime series Machine Hayabusa, which was broadcast in Italy starting in 1979 under the title Falco il superbolide. This dubbing work was performed at the COOP. Sincrovox studio.
Beyond this signature role, Fusaro lent his voice to several other anime series imported to Italy. His credits include voicing the characters Makoto Kusaka and the ship's computer in Blue Noah, as well as Takeshi and the narrator in UFO Senshi Daiapolon. During the 1980s, he was also the proprietor of a Rome-based dubbing company named Tony Fusaro & C. In addition to his voice acting career, he is widely remembered in Italy as a pioneering commentator for televised professional wrestling, known at the time as catch, where he coined colorful Italian names for various moves.
