Consuelo Vives, often credited professionally as Chelo Vivares, is a Spanish actress and voice artist born on April 21, 1952, in Madrid, Spain. She began her career in Spanish television in the mid-1970s with appearances in series such as Cuentos y leyendas and La señora García se confiesa. Vives entered the dubbing industry in 1979, initially providing Spanish voices for characters in films like The In-Laws and the television series Fame. From 1983 to 1987, she gained widespread recognition as the principal puppeteer for Espinete, the iconic pink hedgehog on Barrio Sésamo, the Spanish adaptation of Sesame Street.
