Jerry Lobozzo

Jerry Lobozzo, born Gennaro Victor Lobozzo on October 23, 1962, in Irvington, New Jersey, is an American voice actor recognized for his work in anime dubs produced by 4Kids Entertainment. He began his voice acting career as an adult and became one of the original voice actors for the English adaptation of the Pokémon anime. In the initial three seasons of Pokémon, he was credited only by his last name, Lobozzo, before being credited by his full name in subsequent appearances. He provided voices for numerous characters in the series from its first season through Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire, after which the series underwent a recast.
Lobozzo's career is closely associated with 4Kids Entertainment, for which he voiced characters in a variety of anime series during the early 2000s. He is known for the role of Chief Bookem, the police chief of Cappy Town, in the anime Kirby: Right Back At Ya! for the first 75 episodes. He also provided the voice for Bupkus in the English adaptation of Tama and Friends. His other notable roles include Chuck Thorndyke in Sonic X, Chef Crock Pop in Fighting Foodons, and the characters Dox and Para in Yu-Gi-Oh!. In the Slayers, he voiced Randionell de Saillune, also known as Randy. His filmography also includes additional voices for series such as Cubix and the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.
