Kaneomi Oya was a Japanese actor and voice actor born on June 23, 1934, in Tokyo, Japan. He was affiliated with the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, commonly known as Haikyo, until at least 2012. His career spanned several decades, with numerous credits in television dramas, tokusatsu superhero productions, and animated series.

In the realm of anime voice acting, Oya is notably recognized for his role as Fonse Kagatie in the 1993 television series Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. Fonse Kagatie is the primary antagonist of the series, the elderly Prime Minister of the Zanscare Empire who serves as the real power behind the throne. His other anime voice roles include an unnamed officer in Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow and the character Morse in the 2005 video game Tales of the Abyss.

Oya's work as a performer was not limited to voice acting in animation. He had a prolific career as a screen actor, with a significant number of appearances in Japanese television dramas beginning in the early 1970s. He was also a frequent presence in the tokusatsu genre, with roles in numerous Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series. These included appearances in Spider-Man (1978), JAKQ Dengekitai (1977), Kamen Rider BLACK (1987), and several installments of the Super Sentai franchise such as Himitsu Sentai Gorenger (1975), Dai Sentai Goggle V (1982), and Mirai Sentai Timeranger (2000). He also had a role in an episode of Ultraman Tiga (1996). Oya was noted for having skills in playing the shamisen and a style of traditional Japanese narrative singing called Shinna Jōruri.
