Yuko Maekawa is a Japanese voice actress born on October 8, 1971, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. She began her career in the 1990s and was formerly affiliated with the talent agency Media Force, but later became a freelance voice actress. Her height is 168 cm and her blood type is B.

Maekawa is known for her dynamic vocal range and ability to portray both female characters and energetic young boys. One of her most notable roles from this period is Kouji Sakuraba in the 2001 television anime series Dennō Bōkenki Webdiver. She is also well-recognized for her multiple roles in the first adaptation of Hunter x Hunter (1999), where she voiced Neon Nostrade, Kalluto Zoldyck, and Dem-chan. She later reprised the role of Kalluto Zoldyck in the Hunter x Hunter OVA series G.I. Final.

Her other television anime credits include supporting roles in Wedding Peach, Mizuiro Jidai, Fruits Basket, Grappler Baki (as the young Katsumi Orochi), and Beyblade 2002. In addition to anime, Maekawa has lent her voice to several video games, such as White ~Setsunasa no Kakera~ (as Madoka Nishina), Secret ~Yui ga Ita Natsu~ (as Nao Nishino), and Kaminashi no Tori (as Kyoko Manabe). Her work in dubbing includes providing the Japanese voice for the character Chucky Finster in the animated series Rugrats. She has also contributed to CD dramas, including Omukae desu and Umi ni Nemuru Hana.

A notable aspect of her career is her versatility and her use of the Kansai dialect, which adds a distinct regional flair to her performances. Beyond her acting skills, Maekawa is skilled in kendo, a traditional Japanese martial art.
