Ren Tamura

Description
Ren Tamura is a Japanese voice actor and stage actor born September 26, 1950, in Tokyo. His career in the performing arts began in 1970, focusing primarily on theatre, and he has continued to perform on stage throughout his career. His work as a voice actor for anime and animated series was a shorter chapter of his professional life, with most of his credits spanning from 1997 to 2004.

In these roles, Tamura was typically cast in minor parts or provided additional voices for various series. One of his more prominent roles during this period was as the voice of Archadis, a Predacon character in the 1999 anime series Super Life-Form Transformers: Beast Wars Neo. He voiced the character for a total of 19 episodes of the series. His other anime credits from this time include the role of Omikuji-sennin in Bikkuriman 2000, Dr. Hebereke in Medabots, and a doctor in a single episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Information about his voice acting work is largely confined to these roles from the late 1990s and early 2000s. While he is credited with roles in non-anime productions, such as musical performances for the Sakura Taisen franchise, these are distinct from his voice acting for animated series.
