Akemi Misaki is a Japanese voice actress and narrator affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. She was born on April 19, 1973, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Misaki pursued higher education at the College of Art at Nihon University, during which she also spent a year studying abroad at Washington State University. While still a university student, she enrolled as a 16th-term student at the Aoni Juku training school, the training institution associated with her future agency. Upon graduating from university, she joined Aoni Production.

Misaki's career encompasses a variety of roles in anime, video games, and tokusatsu (live-action special effects) productions. In anime, she is known for her work in the late 1990s and 2000s. As specified, she provided the voice for the character Laluu in the television series Fushigi Mahou Fan Fan Pharmacy. She also voiced the character Mike-nyanko in the series Shiba-wanko no Wa no Kokoro. Her other anime credits include roles in series such as Jigoku Sensei Nube, One Piece, Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, and Zatch Bell. She also appeared in longer-running series like Doraemon and Chibi Maruko-chan.

Beyond anime, Misaki has been active in video games and voice dubbing for foreign content. Her game credits include roles in the visual novel series Green Green and its sequels, as well as the game Edelweiss. She also contributed to the Japanese dubs of children's programs like the Canadian animated series Busytown Mysteries, known in Japan as Sing×3♪ Boku-ra, Backyardigans!. A significant portion of her career also includes work in tokusatsu, providing voices for characters in the Super Sentai franchise. She voiced the villainous Domiro in Mirai Sentai Timeranger and the dinosaur mecha Ankylovailus in Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger and its film appearances. Additionally, Misaki has worked extensively as a narrator and on-screen personality for various television programs and events.
