Hannibal Brown is an Argentine voice actor, translator, and narrator with a career spanning several decades and multiple countries. Born on September 15, 1947, in Buenos Aires, he began his professional journey in the late 1960s, eventually working in Mexico, Los Angeles, and his home country of Argentina. He is recognized for his work on a wide variety of animated series, films, and live-action properties, contributing to dubs for the Latin American market.

Brown's voice work in anime and animation includes the role of Conde Decapitado, also known as Duque Gorgón, in the original Los Angeles dubbing of the classic series Mazinger Z, recorded between 1980 and 1983. Decades later, he returned to the character, voicing Conde Decapitado once again in the 2018 Latin American Spanish dub of the feature film Mazinger Z: Infinity. His other notable roles in animated projects include Ultra Magnus in the original Transformers G1 series and its 1986 film, the tiger Shere Khan in an adaptation of Simba, and Vil Granate in Sonic X.

Beyond animation, Brown has an extensive career dubbing live-action film and television. He is particularly well-known for being the original voice of the droid C-3PO in the first two Star Wars films for their initial Latin American dubs, as well as the voice of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back. He also provided the voice for the character Q in three James Bond films from the 1980s: Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, and The Living Daylights. His television dubbing work includes roles in series such as Doctor Who, Primeval, and Little Britain.

Throughout his career, Brown has also been active as a narrator and presenter. His voice has been featured on networks such as the History Channel, BBC, and Discovery Channel, and he has done narration for projects including IMAX films, NASA presentations, and in-flight programming for American Airlines. In addition to performing, his work in the industry has extended to translation and adaptation of content for various networks and studios.
