Dave Lelyveld is the professional alias of South African-born American voice actor David Richard Paul Wittenberg, who has worked extensively in English dubs of Japanese anime, as well as in Western animation and video games since around the year 2000.

Wittenberg, using the name Dave Lelyveld, was particularly active in the early 2000s, providing voices for numerous anime series. Among his notable roles from this period are the characters specifically cited: he voiced the character Valeria in the anime series Wild Arms - Twilight Venom and provided the voice for the iconic adventurer Adol Christen in the original English dub of the Ys and Ys II original video animations. During this time, his filmography under the Lelyveld alias also included leading roles such as Kaoru Hanabishi in Ai Yori Aoshi, Subaru Sumeragi in X, and Jiro in Android Kikaider: The Animation.

While he continues to use the Lelyveld name for some credits, he is perhaps most widely recognized under his legal name, Dave Wittenberg, for his long-running portrayal of the beloved character Kakashi Hatake in the international hit series Naruto and its sequel, Naruto Shippuden. This role is considered a hallmark of his career.
