Mami Yamase is a Japanese entertainer who began her career in 1985 as a singer and idol. She was born on October 2, 1969. Yamase has contributed her voice to a small number of anime film projects. She provided the voice for Princess Peach in the 1986 anime film Super Mario Brothers: Peach-hime Kyuushutsu Daisakusen. In addition to voicing the character, she also performed the film's theme songs, Crystal Ball and Adieu my love. Her other notable voice role was as the title character in the 1990 anime film Tistou Midori no Oyayubi, an adaptation of Maurice Druon's story. Beyond these voice acting credits, her career has been primarily focused on singing and television appearances. She released numerous singles and albums throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. Her work also included performing theme songs for other anime series, such as Metal Armor Dragonar and What's Michael?. From the 1990s onward, her career shifted focus towards culinary arts, leading to the publication of several cookbooks and appearances on television cooking shows.
