Briefly finding refuge in Mario's residence, she is captured by Bowser and dragged back through the television, leaving behind a distinctive necklace. This necklace, a "Visionary Jewel" intrinsically linked to the Mushroom Kingdom, possesses a twin and foreshadows its significance.

Bowser holds her captive within the Mushroom Kingdom, intent on forcibly marrying her on Friday the 13th. Throughout her imprisonment, Peach remains visibly distressed and actively resists Bowser's advances. At the wedding ceremony, her relief and joy are evident when Mario arrives to intervene.

Her history includes a prior engagement to Prince Haru of the Flower Kingdom. Bowser transformed Prince Haru into a dog-like creature named Kibidango to thwart their union. Kibidango accompanies Mario and Luigi on their quest, ultimately leading them to Peach. Restoring her necklace to her breaks the enchantment on Prince Haru, returning him to his true form.
