Miyako Endō
Description
Miyako Endō is a Japanese voice actress and narrator born on March 21, 1965, in Tokyo, Japan. She is a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University. Her voice acting career began in the 1980s. While she was formerly affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production, she later worked as a freelance voice actress.
Endō has portrayed a wide range of characters across anime, video games, and original video animations. In 1989, she voiced Jean Minakaze in the series Transformers: Victory. That same year, she took on multiple roles in the Amada Anime Series: Super Mario, a trilogy of short films that reimagined classic fairy tales with Super Mario characters. In this series, she voiced Princess Peach, Toad (also known as Kinopio), and the Koopalings Morton Koopa Jr. and Wendy O. Koopa.
Another significant role in Endō's career was in the long-running Sailor Moon franchise, where she voiced multiple characters. These included Unazuki Furuhata, the daughter of the family that runs a noodle shop, as well as Hiromi Matsuno and Nana Asahina, also known as Oniwabandana. Her other notable anime credits include Remy in Getter Robo Go, Princess Momomo in Tomatoman, and taking over the roles of the protagonist's mother and Yūki Uehara in the long-running series Kiteretsu Daihyakka. She also made guest appearances in series such as Dragon Ball Z, where she played an English teacher, CLAMP School Detectives, and Case Closed.
In addition to her work in anime, Endō had a long-running role as the system voice for the fighting game series Dead or Alive. She provided the voice for the in-game announcer and menus from the original arcade game released in 1996 through Dead or Alive Dimensions in 2011. Her other video game work includes roles in Tōshinden URA and the Double Dragon series.
