Alexander Gross, born May 29, 1988, is an American voice actor and content creator known for his work in anime dubs and video games. He is also widely recognized by his online persona, Octopimp, under which he streams and creates content. Gross holds a degree in musical theater from Dean College in Massachusetts, an education that laid the foundation for his performance career.

His entry into professional voice acting began with small roles in indie projects, such as the visual novel Army of Tentacles. He has since built a diverse portfolio, lending his voice to a variety of characters across different media. In anime, he is known for his long-standing role as Toru Iwashimizu in multiple installments of the Free! franchise, including Free! Eternal Summer and Free! -Dive to the Future-. He voices Brett the archer in the fantasy comedy Dragon Goes House-Hunting and takes on the role of the calculating Eiji Todoroki in the action series Tribe Nine. His other anime credits include appearances in The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 as Yuji, Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack as Sasai, and Beyblade Burst QuadStrike.

In the video game industry, Gross is perhaps best known for voicing the time-traveling fighter Axl Low in Guilty Gear -Strive-, a role he considered a dream job and one where his personal expertise as a competitive player informed his performance. His extensive game credits also include Eric the Blacksmith in Boyfriend Dungeon, Lazar Blazer in Wasteland 3, Faba in Pokémon Masters, Clive in Unicorn Overlord, and Shusuke Kenmochi in Lost Judgment, in addition to providing additional voices for major titles like Persona 5 Strikers and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. He has also performed in visual novels such as Monster Prom and Monster Camp, taking over the roles of Oz, Liam, and the Narrator.

Beyond traditional acting, Gross is an active participant in the online community. He is a Twitch partner and full-time streamer, and he creates content on YouTube. He is also the creator of the web series 50% Off, an abridged parody, and has made guest appearances on the podcast The Co-Optional Podcast. His involvement in the fighting game community extends to competition, having qualified for and participated in major tournaments like Evo and ArcRevo for the Guilty Gear series.
