Sebastian Schultz is a prominent German voice actor, born in Rostock in 1977. His career in dubbing began during his school years in the mid-1980s, with his first voice role being Timmy in the television series Lassie. He became established as a voice actor in the mid-1990s and has since lent his voice to a vast number of characters in films, television series, and animation, also working as a dialogue director and scriptwriter.

Schultz is widely recognized for his extensive work in anime dubbing. One of his most iconic roles is Trunks in the Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT series. He also provided the German voice for Yami Yugi, also known as the Pharaoh Atem, in the first Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Other notable anime roles include Prince Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Kamui Shirō in X 1999, Setsuna Mudo in Angel Sanctuary, Koichi Kimura in Digimon Frontier, and Rau Le Creuset in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. In the tenth Pokémon movie, The Rise of Darkrai, he voiced the character Baron Alberto.

Beyond anime, Schultz has achieved significant fame for being the standard German dubbing voice for numerous international actors. He is the German voice of Donald Faison as Dr. Christopher Turk in Scrubs, Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory, and Andy Samberg in various roles including his performance in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He also dubbed Christopher Masterson as Francis in Malcolm in Between, Martin Freeman as Dr. John Watson in Sherlock, and Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

Throughout his career, Schultz has frequently collaborated with a regular circle of fellow voice actors. Data from the voice acting industry indicates he has worked with Tilo Schmitz on eleven separate projects, as well as having numerous collaborations with Oliver Siebeck, Robin Kahnmeyer, and Wanja Gerick. His work also extends to radio plays and video games, such as voicing Karl Vierstein in four installments of the TKKG game series.
