Sergio Di Stefano was an Italian actor and voice actor, born in Rome on 5 July 1939. He passed away on 17 September 2010 at the age of 71. His career in dubbing began in the 1970s, and he became widely recognized as the official Italian voice for numerous Hollywood actors, including Jeff Bridges, John Malkovich, Christopher Lambert, and Hugh Laurie.

In the realm of anime and animated productions for the Italian market, Di Stefano contributed his voice to a wide array of characters. He is known for voicing Hayato Jin across multiple iterations of the Getter Robo franchise, including in the original video animations (OVAs) Getter Robo: Armageddon, Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo, and New Getter Robo. He also voiced the character Dario in Alexander: The Movie.

His other notable anime voice roles include Captain Harlock and Dr. Zero in various Captain Harlock productions, Folken Fanel in The Vision of Escaflowne, Clow Reed in Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie, and Hana in Tokyo Godfathers. He also provided voices for Childman in Orphen and Yasuo Iwakura in Serial Experiments Lain.
