Rome Elliot

Description
Rome Elliot was the stage name of an American actor known for his voice work in English-language dubs of anime series. He was active in the industry during the late 1990s and 2000s, contributing voices to several notable titles released in North America. His background included work as a stage, screen, and television actor in addition to his voice-over career.

Elliot is perhaps best recognized for two distinct anime roles. He provided the English voice for Eiri Yuki, the caustic and popular romance novelist, in the series Gravitation. This role remains one of his most frequently cited performances. He also voiced Mitsunori Kugayama, a character in the anime adaptation of the otaku-culture manga Genshiken, including its sequel Genshiken 2 and the subsequent Genshiken OVA. His work on the Genshiken OVA is noted as his final role in anime voice acting.

Beyond these prominent parts, Elliot's filmography included other anime titles from the same era. He had roles in series such as Comic Party, Gokudo, and Kujibiki Unbalance, often in association with Central Park Media productions. His work contributed to the landscape of English-dubbed anime during a period of growth for the medium in the United States.
