Matthias Ransberger is a German actor and voice artist born in Munich in 1981. He pursued acting training in Potsdam before gaining experience on stage in several German cities, including Bozen, Wunsiedel, Gera, and Munich. His on-screen career includes roles in numerous German television series such as Polizeiruf 110, Die Rosenheim-Cops, and München Mord, as well as films like Eine ganz heiße Nummer and Kohlhaas - oder die Verhältnismäßigkeit der Mittel, the latter receiving the Deutscher Schauspielerpreis in 2014.

Alongside his work in film and television, Ransberger has established a significant presence in voice acting, lending his voice to characters in a wide array of international productions for the German market. His voice work spans live-action series such as Game of Thrones and Jane the Virgin. In animation, he has contributed to the long-running series One Piece.

Ransberger has been particularly active in the dubbing of anime. His roles include the character Johann-Matthäus Weiß in both the Saga of Tanya the Evil television series and its subsequent film, Saga of Tanya the Evil: The Movie. He provided the German voice for Rackam in Granblue Fantasy: The Animation. His other anime credits include roles in Darwin's Game, By the Grace of the Gods, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, and the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War series. Beyond performing, his expertise in the field extends to the roles of dubbing director and dialogue book author.
