Kai Jordan

Description
Kai Jordan is an American voice actor based in California, known for his work in English dubs of anime and animation. He was born in North Hollywood, California on January 10, 1997. His early interest in animation and voice acting developed during his childhood, leading him to participate in school projects and create online videos. A pivotal moment came when he performed the role of Sonny in a school production of the musical Grease, which solidified his passion for performing arts. To pursue a professional career, Jordan honed his skills through college acting courses and various workshops, including those at Kalmenson & Kalmenson, Adventures in Voice Acting, a workshop with voice actor Richard Horvitz, and The Groundlings.

Jordan's professional voice-over career began after signing with an agency, leading to roles in anime and original animation. In anime, he is recognized for providing the voice of Shinji Kazama in the series Talentless Nana. He also voiced the character Oslo Suwen in Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- and had roles in other series such as Arte, Tribe Nine, Mashle, and Mission: Yozakura Family, often in addition to providing voices for various background and supporting characters.

A significant role in Jordan's career was voicing the character Leon in the 2020 web anime series Pokémon: Twilight Wings. This series, set in the Galar region from the Pokémon Sword and Shield games, featured Jordan as the English voice for the undefeated Champion Leon, a prominent character in the franchise. His performance in Twilight Wings is noted as a recasting from the voice actor who portrayed Leon in the main Pokémon anime series. In addition to Leon, Jordan also voiced the Pokémon Gastly and its evolution Gengar in the same series. His association with the Pokémon franchise extended to a small role as the character Laxton in Pokémon Journeys: The Series and as an uncredited Team Galactic Grunt in the video game Pokémon Masters.

Beyond anime, Jordan's voice work includes roles in video game dubbing. He voiced the character Drache in Shadowverse, Juza in Genshin Impact, and a wolf character in Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne. Throughout his career, he has worked with various voice directors and casting agencies common in the Los Angeles-based dubbing industry, though specific recurring collaborations are not extensively documented. His body of work demonstrates a steady engagement with English dubs for popular anime and video game franchises.
