Marco Guadagno is an Italian actor, voice actor, dubbing director, dialogist, and theater director, born in Rome on December 19, 1960. His career in the performing arts began in his childhood, as he worked as a young actor for prominent film directors such as Sergio Leone, Federico Fellini, and Damiano Damiani, appearing alongside iconic stars like Alberto Sordi and Marcello Mastroianni. Starting in the 1980s, he established himself firmly in the world of dubbing.

Guadagno is renowned for his extensive voice work in animated series and films, lending his voice to a wide array of memorable characters. He is the Italian voice of Puffo Quattrocchi (Brainy Smurf) in the popular series I Puffi, the bassotto Burger Bass in DuckTales, and the hyena Banzai in the Disney film Il re leone (The Lion King) and its sequel. In anime, his roles are numerous and include the protagonist Conan in Conan il ragazzo del futuro (Future Boy Conan), Anthony in Candy Candy, Franti in Cuore, and Gintoki Sakata in Gintama. Notably, he voiced the character Luigi Augusto, also known as Luigi XVI, in the Italian edition of the classic anime Lady Oscar (The Rose of Versailles). Other animation credits include roles in I Simpson (The Simpsons) as Nelson Muntz, UFO Robot Goldrake, and Rocky Joe.

Beyond animation, Guadagno is widely recognized as the regular Italian voice of actor Jason Priestley, particularly for his role as Brandon Walsh in the series Beverly Hills 90210. He has also dubbed Matthew Broderick in many of his films, as well as actors such as Toby Jones, Giovanni Ribisi, and John Leguizamo.

In addition to performing voices, Marco Guadagno has had a significant career as a dubbing director and dialogist, adapting and directing the Italian versions of numerous major films and sagas. His work in this capacity includes acclaimed films like The Truman Show, Million Dollar Baby, and films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting from Iron Man, as well as the rebooted Planet of the Apes series and the Ice Age saga. He has also continued his on-screen acting career, appearing in films directed by Carlo Verdone and Pupi Avati, and in various Italian television series. He is the brother of voice actress Francesca Guadagno.
