Azuma Sakamoto is a Japanese female voice actress born on October 9, 1984, in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency office-watanabe, having previously been a member of Genki Project until August 2009. Her blood type is A, and her interests include watching motorsports such as Formula One, GT, and D1 Grand Prix, as well as cooking.

Sakamoto made her debut as a voice actress in 2006, landing her first role in the television anime series Lovege Chu - Miracle Seiyū Hakusho (also known as Voice Make: Miracle Seiyū Hakusho). In this series, which centers on a group of girls training to become voice actors, she played the character Tsubasa Ono (also listed as Tsubasa Onodera in some sources). Her involvement with the series extended beyond voice acting, as she was also part of the musical unit sister×sisters, formed with her four co-stars. The group performed the second opening theme song for the series, titled Nanairo Nadeshiko.

Following her debut, Sakamoto continued to work in the anime industry. Her other notable voice roles from this early period include the character Kaito in Fairy Musketeers and the young Gilbert Nightray in Pandora Hearts. She also contributed to the dubbing of overseas animation, providing the Japanese voice for the character Toph in the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Her filmography also includes supporting roles in productions such as Clannad After Story, where she voiced a character named Isamu, and an appearance in the OVA蜜×蜜ドロップス as Uran Sae.
