Manami Nakayama is a Japanese voice actor who is professionally known by her stage name Sara Nakayama. She was born on January 29, 1974, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production.
Nakayama has been active in the voice acting industry since 1993. Her voice work spans a variety of media, including television animation, original video animations, feature films, video games, and tokusatsu productions.
One of her notable early roles was providing the voice for Megumi in the 1996 television anime series Gegege no Kitaro. She later reprised this role for the 2008 animated film Gegege no Kitaro: Daikaijuu. In the 2007 iteration of the Gegege no Kitaro television series, she voiced a different character, Yobuko.
Her other significant roles in anime television series include Riku Harada in D.N.Angel, Porche in One Piece, Midori Chitose in Green Green, Mai Zaizen in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Female Heavy Blade in.hack//Legend of the Twilight, and multiple monster-of-the-day characters in Sailor Moon SuperS. She also voiced Helena in the anime Spice and Wolf.
In addition to her anime work, Nakayama has contributed to video games. Her game credits include Pippo in Tales of Legendia, Yoshiko Kawashima in Shadow Hearts, and Ex Calibur in Rakugaki Showtime.
