Doug Parker is a Canadian voice actor and voice director with a career spanning several decades, beginning in the mid-1980s. Born on December 17, 1957, he has been active in the animation industry since 1985, contributing his voice to numerous animated series and films, particularly those dubbed in English by the Ocean Group in Vancouver.

Parker is known for a wide array of voice roles in both Western animation and Japanese anime. In the Transformers franchise, he is closely associated with the character Tidal Wave. He first voiced the colossal Decepticon in Transformers: Armada and continued the role in its sequel, Transformers: Energon, where the character was later rebuilt as Mirage. His work in the franchise also includes voicing Terrorsaur and Starscream in the series Beast Wars: Transformers. Beyond Transformers, his extensive filmography features significant roles in several high-profile dubs. He provided voices for the Ocean Group dubs of the Dragon Ball franchise, including Oolong in the first Dragon Ball movie, as well as Bubbles and Gregory in Dragon Ball Z. Other notable credits include Mega Man in Captain N: The Game Master, Prince Adam in The New Adventures of He-Man, Vulcan in the Zoids franchise, and the Shredder in Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation.

In addition to his on-microphone work, Parker has had a substantial career behind the scenes as a voice and casting director. He has directed English adaptations for numerous series and specials, including G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, The Bots Master, RoboCop: Alpha Commando, and the first English dub of Dragon Ball. His work as a director extended to children's programming like ToddWorld, a series that was nominated for an Outstanding Children's Animated Program award. He was also instrumental in discovering and coordinating voice talent in the Vancouver area during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Throughout his career, Parker has frequently collaborated with a core group of Vancouver-based voice actors, including Scott McNeil, Ian James Corlett, Don Brown, and Gary Chalk.
