Mei Shimizu

Description
Mei Shimizu is a former Japanese voice actress and current actress, born on June 3, 1990, in Tokyo, Japan. She was affiliated with the talent agency Space Craft Entertainment during her voice acting career.

Shimizu made her voice acting debut in 2001 at the age of eleven, providing the voice for the character Kaeru no Ruru, also known as Frog Ruru, in the anime television series Angel's Tail. She reprised this role for the 2003 sequel series, Angel's Tail Chu!. These two series represent her entire body of work as an anime voice actor.

As part of the cast of Angel's Tail, Shimizu was a member of the voice actress unit P.E.T.S., which was formed by the twelve main female cast members. Within this group, she was also part of a sub-unit called the Chibikko Trio, alongside fellow young actresses Aya Hirano and Shizuka Hasegawa. Her involvement with the series and P.E.T.S. led to participation in related media, including a radio program, drama CDs, and character song albums.

Following the conclusion of Angel's Tail Chu!, Shimizu stepped away from voice acting to focus on her studies. She later returned to the entertainment industry as an actress. A notable later credit is her role as Yotsuba Satsuki in the 2007 adaptation of Mahou Sensei Negima.
