Takurō Kitagawa is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator from Tokyo, born on December 12, 1949. He began his performance career during his student days as a member of his school's drama club, later gaining experience in stage performance with groups such as the Tokyo Theater Ensemble. Before focusing on voice acting, he also performed as a clown in the Sekine Circus. Over the course of his career, he has been affiliated with several talent management firms, including Sigma Seven, before becoming a freelancer in November 2013.

Kitagawa's career in voice acting spans a wide range of anime television series, original video animations, and animated films from the 1980s through the 2010s. Among his notable anime roles are the Fisher King in Soul Eater (2008), a Captain and a Commander in the 1997 Berserk series, and roles in One Piece Film: Strong World (2009) and xxxHolic: A Midsummer Night's Dream (2005). His filmography also includes work on Mobile Suit Gundam Z, Magical Princess Minky Momo, and the English dub of the animated film Song of the Sea, for which he provided the voice of Ferry Dan. He is also confirmed for the role of Joe in the 1986 television movie Coral Reef Legend: Elfie of the Blue Sea.

Beyond animation, Kitagawa has been active in voice dubbing for foreign films and television series, lending his voice to projects such as The Ghost Writer, L.A. Law, and The West Wing. His work also extends to narration across various media. In addition to his performance work, he has shared his expertise as a lecturer at voice acting and talent academies.
