Jens-Uwe Bogadtke is a German actor and voice actor, born on November 24, 1957, in Berlin. He studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 1979 to 1982. His career began on stage, with his debut at the Berlin Ensemble in 1980, and he has remained actively involved in theatre, including as a co-founder of the Theater im Palais in Berlin.
In addition to his extensive stage work, Bogadtke has built a substantial career in film and television since the 1980s, appearing in numerous German productions. He gained recognition for his leading roles in DEFA fairy tale films, such as the title roles in Der Bärenhäuter (1986) and Froschkönig (1988). His television credits include guest roles in series like Der letzte Zeuge.
As a voice actor, Bogadtke has lent his voice to numerous characters in dubs of international films and series. His work includes voicing J.B. in the audio adaptation of Saban's VR Troopers. In animation, he provided the German voice for the character Anthony Boone in the anime series Little Women (Eine fröhliche Familie), based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott.
