Júlio César was a veteran Brazilian voice actor, widely recognized for his work dubbing animated series and films into Portuguese. He is credited with voicing the character Raita Hokuto in the Portuguese-language dubbing of the anime series Space Warrior Baldios.

His career as a dublador spanned over three decades, beginning in 1980 at the renowned Herbert Richers studios in Rio de Janeiro and continuing until his death in 2014. During this time, he became a prominent figure in the industry, working on numerous projects across various studios, including Herbert Richers, Delart, and VTI Rio, where he also served as a production director.

While his work in anime includes the role in Space Warrior Baldios, Júlio César was perhaps best known for his voice work in Western animation and live-action films. He was the second official Portuguese voice of Homer Simpson in the Brazilian version of The Simpsons from the 8th to the 14th season. He also lent his voice to a wide array of iconic characters, such as the villain Destruidor in the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, Ranzinza in The Smurfs, and characters in series like He-Man and Transformers. In cinema, he was the dubbing voice for actors like Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and Gerard Butler as King Leonidas in 300.
