Michael Scott Ryan is an American voice actor recognized for his work in English-language dubs of anime series and films, particularly during the 1990s. He is also known by the alias Weston Peese.

Ryan is perhaps best known for his portrayal of the villain Kagato in the foundational anime series Tenchi Muyo! He voiced this role in the original Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA series, where he was credited as Weston Peese, and later as Kagato in the Tenchi Universe television series. He also provided the voice for the character Kain in the feature film Tenchi Muyo! in Love.

In addition to his work in the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, Ryan voiced the character Bosujima in the 1995 cyberpunk OVA Psycho Diver: Soul Siren. His other notable anime roles include Parmenion in the series Reign: The Conqueror and the film Alexander: The Movie, as well as Ackdam in the fantasy OVA Dragon Slayer. Beyond anime, his credits include providing additional voices for the animated series Todd McFarlane's Spawn and the role of Mr. Chuckles in the animated film FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue.

Throughout his career, Ryan frequently collaborated with a consistent group of voice actors and ADR directors common in Los Angeles-based anime productions of the era. His credits show recurring collaborations with performers such as John DeMita, Sherry Lynn, Matt K. Miller, and Julia Fletcher.
