Naoko Nakamura

Naoko Nakamura is a Japanese voice actress and narrator affiliated with the agency Aoni Production. She was born on July 28 in Osaka Prefecture. Nakamura is a graduate of the Aoni Production training school, the Aoni Juku Osaka branch, being a graduate of its 5th term. She began her career in 1989 and has been active in the industry since then.
Nakamura has built a varied career with roles across many anime television series, OVAs, and video games. In television animation, her notable roles include the character Pia in the 1995 series Romeo's Blue Sky and Rebecca in Tropical-Rainforest: Haré+Guu from 2001. She also provided the voice for the first炒饭王子 (Fried Rice Prince) in the long-running children's series Anpanman. In the long-running detective series Case Closed, known as Meitantei Conan, she voiced several characters, including笕苑子 (Takei Sonoko) in multiple episodes. Other television credits include roles in Marmalade Boy, Crayon Shin-chan, and Ojarumaru.
In original video animations, or OVAs, one of her roles is Nataruma in the 1993 science fiction series Orguss 02, a sequel to The Super Dimension Century Orguss. Her other OVA work includes Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals, where she played one of Rouge's henchwomen, and appearances in the Galaxy Fraulein Yuna series as Gina. Nakamura has also been active in video games, most notably as the voice of the sniper Sniper Wolf in the acclaimed 1998 game Metal Gear Solid and its 2008 motion comic adaptation, Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel. Her other game credits include南百合丽子 (Minami Yuriko) in Secret of Teathrum and various roles in the long-running Galaxy Fraulein Yuna series.
Throughout her career, Nakamura has frequently worked with a number of fellow voice actors, including江川央生 (Egawa Hisao),岩永哲哉 (Iwanaga Tetsuya), and置鲇龙太郎 (Okiayu Ryotaro), with whom she has multiple joint credits.
