Adam Henderson

Adam Henderson is a Canadian voice actor with an extensive career in anime dubbing, closely associated with Ocean Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia. His career in voice acting began in London, England, where he worked on dubs for Manga Entertainment before relocating to Canada. Born in New York City, Henderson trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and spent 25 years as a working actor in London, performing in theatre, film, television, and BBC radio drama prior to his move to Vancouver.

Henderson has contributed his voice to a wide array of anime series and films, often for English-language dubs produced in the United Kingdom and Canada. In the OVA series New Dominion Tank Police, he is the voice of the character Al Southwell, taking over the role from Steve Graf for this particular dub. Among his other notable anime roles are Ledonir Kisaka in both Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, Gatenmaru in Inuyasha, and Fuuma Monou in the film X. His early work in London for Manga Entertainment includes roles in classic dubs such as Leon in AD Police Files, Wataru in A Wind Named Amnesia, and Yoshi in the Appleseed OVA. He has also provided voices for the Ocean Group dub of Dragon Ball Z, notably as King Cold.

Beyond anime, Henderson's voice work extends to video games, with a credit as Joey and Ken in Beneath a Steel Sky. In addition to his performance career, he is also active as a dialect coach for film and television, a theatre director, and an audiobook narrator. He shares his expertise as an instructor at the Vancouver Film School and the University of British Columbia.
