Jay Sefton is an American actor whose voice acting work is primarily known from several English-dubbed anime productions in the mid-1990s. Born on May 5, 1971, in Pennsylvania, his birth name is John Joseph Sefton. He is a member of both the actors' unions Actors' Equity and SAG-AFTRA.

Sefton's most prominent anime roles are linked to the fantasy genre. He voiced the character Redon in the English adaptation of the 1996 film Legend of Crystania: The Motion Picture. He subsequently reprised the role of Redon for the related three-episode original video animation series, Legend of Crystania: The Chaos Ring, which was released from 1996 to 1997. His other notable voice credit from this period is the role of Sedon in the 1997 three-episode original video animation, Dragoon. These projects were part of a wave of anime being licensed and dubbed for the North American market during that era, and Sefton frequently worked alongside a consistent group of voice actors on these productions, including Ken Webster, Jessica Schwartz, Lauri Raymond, and John Paul Shephard.

Beyond his voice work in anime, Sefton has maintained an active career as a stage and screen actor. His theatre credits are extensive, with performances in productions ranging from King Lear at Theatricum Botanicum in Los Angeles to What the Constitution Means to Me at various Massachusetts theatres.
