Alan Sklar is an American voice actor and narrator whose career spans theater, commercial voice-over, and audiobook narration, with a small number of credits in English-dubbed anime. A graduate of Dartmouth College in 1956, Sklar's initial passion was for the stage. He was an apprentice at the American Shakespeare Theatre and worked as an equity actor in New York City and regional theater. He briefly had a film contract with Warner Bros. Pictures but chose not to pursue it. After a detour running his family's paint business for two decades, he returned to performance, transitioning to a career in freelance voice-over work in 1983.

In the realm of anime, Sklar's voice can be heard in the English-language adaptation of the 1989 original video animation, Cybernetics Guardian. For this sci-fi OVA, he provided the voices for two characters: Dr. Volks and a Priest.
