Laurent Hilling was a French actor primarily known for his extensive work in voice acting, particularly for the French dubbing of animated series and films. He was born on June 29, 1950, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, and passed away on March 27, 1999, in Paris at the age of 48. He was the son of actor Jacques Hilling.

Hilling's voice became familiar to French audiences through numerous anime and Western animated series dubbed in France during the 1980s and 1990s. One of his prominent roles was providing the French voice for Mr. Morton in the anime series "Flo et les Robinson Suisses" (Swiss Family Robinson). He also voiced the character of Satan in the animated film "Dracula: Sovereign Of The Damned". Another significant role was as David the Gnome in the series "Le Monde de David le gnome" and as the Narrator in its sequel, "La Sagesse des gnomes".

His voice work spanned a wide variety of other productions. He was the voice of Morton Fizzback in "Denver, le Dernier Dinosaure," and took on the roles of Long John Silver and Billy Bones in a 1978 version of "L'Île au Trésor". In the film "Nausicaä de la Vallée du Vent," he voiced the character Axel in the 1991 French dub. He was also heard in series such as "Signé Cat's Eyes" as Commissaire Bruno and Monsieur Durieux, "Bioman" as Docteur Mad, and its sequel "Bioman 2: Maskman" as Barbar and Kiros. His filmography includes roles in "Georgie," "Moi Renart," "La Tulipe Noire," and "Tom Sawyer".

Beyond animation, Hilling had a role in the live-action film "Le retour des Charlots" in 1992. He also contributed as an adapter for the French version of the series "Bioman" and worked as a singer for the theme song of "Amuse 3". In addition to his on-screen and voice work, he was involved in direction as a Directeur Artistique (artistic director) for dubbing.
