David Goldstein is an American voice actor based in Los Angeles with a career that spans anime, video games, and animated series. His path to voice acting was nontraditional, beginning with a twenty-year history in improvisational comedy at renowned Los Angeles venues such as iO West, The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The Second City, and Nerdist. Prior to focusing on performance, he worked as a television editor. He later took up the accordion and toured North America for five years with an Irish punk band before formally pursuing voiceover work. His voice acting training includes study under Nancy Wolfson, as well as coaching in animation and video games from industry professionals like Donna Grillo, Richard Horvitz, Dave Fennoy, Crispin Freeman, and Andrea Toyias.

In anime, Goldstein is recognized for his role as the clever and pragmatic cat character Gallette in the English adaptation of the 2001 series Magical Meow Meow Taruto. In addition to voicing Gallette, he also provided narration for the first episode of the series. His other anime credits from the early 2000s include work on several prominent titles, such as Prince of Tennis, Trigun, and Rurouni Kenshin. He has also been credited for voice work on the animated series Rocket Power. More recent anime roles include providing additional voices for Sword Art Online and voicing Walther Lindstedt in Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture. He is also featured as the voice of the God of Poverty in Ghost Cat Anzu and provided additional voices for The Colors Within.

Beyond anime, Goldstein has built an extensive career in video game voiceover. He voiced the character Billy Bob in the Intergrade DLC for Final Fantasy VII Remake. His game credits also include roles in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and appearances in various capacities across multiple titles, where he has voiced characters such as Herbalist Gui in HoYoverse's Genshin Impact, Bijan in Diablo IV, and Chris in the game Wanted: Dead.
