Jesús Colin was a Mexican voice actor recognized for his extensive work in Spanish dubbing for anime, films, and television series. He was born on September 14, 1928. Over a prolific career spanning several decades, he became a familiar voice to audiences throughout Latin America.

Colin's career encompassed a wide range of characters, though he is perhaps most renowned for his anime voice roles. His most iconic and enduring performance was as the voice of Master Roshi in the Latin American dubs of the Dragon Ball franchise, including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT. This role cemented his legacy among fans of the series. Another notable anime role, as specified, was providing the voice for the character Kaosu, also known as El Anciano or The Ancient One, in the series Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers (Guerreros Samurai). His other contributions to anime dubbing included roles in Sailor Moon, Shuten Doji, The Legend of Ellcia, and the film The Wonderful Galaxy of Oz.

Beyond anime, Jesús Colin had a significant presence in the dubbing of live-action films and series. He was well-known for being the Spanish voice of Chancellor Palpatine / Darth Sidious in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
