Juli Erickson was an American actress widely recognized for her extensive work in voice acting for English-language anime adaptations. Born on December 4, 1939, she began her on-screen career with a minor role in the film Heaven's Gate and subsequently appeared in live-action television series such as Matlock and Walker, Texas Ranger. She transitioned into voice acting, becoming a prominent figure in the industry for her portrayals of maternal and elderly characters.

Erickson amassed a substantial list of credits in anime dubbing, frequently collaborating with FUNimation Entertainment. One of her most celebrated roles was as Pinako Rockbell, the grandmotherly automail mechanic, in both the 2003 series Fullmetal Alchemist and its later adaptation, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. She was also a recurring presence in the long-running series One Piece, providing the voices for the Marine Vice-Admiral Tsuru and the train conductor Kokoro. Her other significant anime roles included Iga Ogen in Basilisk, Setsu in Samurai 7, Shima Maezono in Ouran High School Host Club, Ohba Babasama in Fairy Tail, and Recovery Girl in the first season of My Hero Academia. In the series Kodocha, she voiced the character Shizuka Kurata.

Her performances often involved characters of wisdom and age, bringing a distinct warmth or sternness to her roles. Erickson was married to fellow voice actor Grant James. In October 2018, it was announced that she had retired from voice acting, leading to her recurring roles being recast. Juli Erickson passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025.
