Mimi Davies is the former stage name of Mimi J. Woods, a retired American voice actress based in Los Angeles who was active primarily in the 1990s. She is credited under several variations of her name, including Mimi J. Davies and M.J. Davis, with Mimi Davies being one of the credits used early in her career. Her work focused almost exclusively on providing English dubbing voices for Japanese anime series and films being localized for the North American market.

In the role specified, Davies is credited as the voice of Nastasha in the English language version of the 1992 anime film Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: The Movie. In addition to that character, she also provided the voices for the commercial, the PA system, and a newscaster in the same production. This was one of several roles she performed under the Davies name during the late 1980s and early 1990s, a period that also included work on series such as The Super Dimension Century Orguss and Guyver: The Bio-Booster Armor.

Her most iconic and widely recognized role came later in her career under her birth name, Mimi Woods, when she was cast as the voice of Major Motoko Kusanagi in the 1995 landmark film Ghost in the Shell. This performance is considered a defining role in anime dubbing and introduced the character to a wide international audience. She later reprised the role for the 1997 video game adaptation of the film. Her other significant anime credits include the roles of Shayla-Shayla in the various El Hazard series and Lahrri Fernando in Battle Athletes Victory.

Throughout her career, Davies frequently collaborated with a consistent group of fellow voice actors and ADR directors in the Los Angeles based dubbing industry. She worked alongside performers such as Steve Blum, Dougary Grant, and Debra Jean Rogers on numerous projects, including Macross II, Ghost in the Shell, and El Hazard. Davies retired from voice acting and moved away from Los Angeles. Her final credited voice over role was in the English version of the video game The Bouncer, released in 2000, in which she voiced a newscaster. Since her retirement, there has been no record of her returning to acting in any medium.
