Magura Sukegawa
Description
Magura Sukegawa is a Japanese voice actor and stage actor affiliated with Sony Music Artists. He was born in Tokyo on January 14, 1999. His path to the entertainment industry began in 2016 when he was selected as a finalist in the 5th Anistoteles Anime Audition, a voice actor competition hosted by Sony Music Artists. In March 2018, he started his professional career by joining the dance and vocal unit Hi!Superb, where he performs under the stage name MAGURA.
Sukegawa made his debut as an anime voice actor with the role of Daiki Takao in the television series UniteUp!, which aired in January 2023. He has continued to voice the same character in subsequent project releases, including the second season, UniteUp! -Uni:Birth-, which was scheduled to premiere in January 2025. As part of the UniteUp! project, he has also participated in music releases as a member of the in-series unit LEGIT, contributing to character songs and albums.
Prior to his anime work, Sukegawa built a career in stage acting. His notable theater credits include the role of Tokiya Bokki in Ai Chu The Stage in 2020, and a role in the stage adaptation Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin The Stage in the same year. He has also appeared in productions such as Ano Natsu no Hikoukigumo in 2022 and 25 Magic in 2023. Outside of acting, his skills include human beatbox, dancing, singing, and playing basketball. He has expressed a personal interest in camping, an activity through which he developed skills in building fires and grilling.
