R. Bruce Elliott is an American actor, voice actor, dubbing director, and scriptwriter with a career spanning several decades, known primarily for his extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series for Funimation. Born Robert Bruce Elliott on September 3, 1949, in Renton, Washington, his career in voice acting began to flourish in the early 2000s, building upon previous experience in live-action television and film. He is recognized for a distinctive voice well-suited to authoritative, wise, or eccentric older characters, as well as for his narration work.

One of Elliott's most prominent and long-running roles is that of Makarov Dreyar, the third master of the Fairy Tail guild, in the hit series Fairy Tail and its sequel, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. He is also the English voice of Captain Ginyu, the leader of the eponymous Ginyu Force, in the Funimation dub of the Dragon Ball franchise, taking over the role from Brice Armstrong and voicing the character in Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Super, and numerous video games.
