Mimori Tanigake

Description
Mimori Tanigake is a Japanese voice actress born on August 25, 1999, in Osaka Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency clair. Her entry into the voice acting industry began in 2014 when, as a third-year middle school student, she received a special award at the Seiyu Kon audition held in the Kansai region. This award came with the opportunity to participate in the final round of the Seiyu Kon competition and led directly to her being cast in her first major role.

Tanigake was selected as the first voice actress for the character Misa Ono in the Kyoto Municipal Transportation Bureau's promotional project, Chikatetsu ni Noru (Ride the Subway). Misa Ono is depicted as a guitar-playing high school girl with a cool and straightforward personality. The casting was the result of a public audition held at the Kyoto International Manga & Anime Fair in 2014, which was open to high school students. She voiced the character for the project from her debut in 2014 until March 2018. This role encompassed the project's crowdfunded ten-minute anime short, which premiered in 2017 and depicted the characters starting their first day of high school. It also included earlier anime commercials and was part of a broader campaign that featured the characters in various promotional materials for the Kyoto subway system.

Beyond her work on Chikatetsu ni Noru, Tanigake has provided the Japanese voice for the character Roxie in the 2023 action-adventure video game Afterimage. She also voices the character Macaron Cookie in the Japanese version of the popular mobile game Cookie Run: Kingdom.
