Hana Tamegai
Description
Hana Tamegai is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with the agency Atomic Monkey. She was born in Tokyo on September 20, 1997. Her interest in performing arts began in elementary school when she participated in a children's theater troupe, which inspired her to pursue acting professionally. In 2014, while in her second year of high school, she was a finalist and received an award in the voice actor category at the third national Seiyū Damashii contest. She later became a student in the twelfth class of the Atomic Monkey Voice Actor & Acting Institute in 2017 and officially joined the agency in April 2019.
Tamegai's career encompasses a variety of roles in anime, video games, and stage productions. One of her earliest notable anime roles was as Misha in the 2019 series Kemono Michi: Rise Up. She is widely recognized for her portrayal of Risa Matoba within the large-scale Idolmaster franchise, first in the 2019 web anime The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls 8th Anniversary Special Project: Spin-off! and subsequently in the 2023 television anime The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls U149 and its related OVA. Her other key anime roles include Shion Otosaka in Shadowverse Flame (2022), Tsumugi Tsutsumi in Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included (2024), and Bina in Shinkalion Change the World (2024). She has also been cast as Liat in the 2025 anime Teogonia.
In addition to animation, Tamegai has an extensive body of work in video games. Since 2016, she has voiced numerous characters in the long-running mobile game Monster Strike. Her other game credits include roles in the Fight League franchise, Smash & Magic, Girls' Frontline, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Assault Lily Last Bullet. Her work also extends to stage performances, with appearances in productions such as Mother 4 and multiple installments of the Nikaidō Yū no Jikenbo series.
As part of her role in The IDOLM@STER franchise, Tamegai has performed as a singer on several character song CDs.
