Sascha von Zambelly is an Austrian-German actor and voice artist. He was born in Vienna in 1968 and completed his training as an actor and theater specialist at the Theater in Cronenberg in Wuppertal, Germany. His early career was rooted in stage performance, with engagements at prominent theaters including the Schauspiel Essen, Theater Bielefeld, Theater Freiburg, and the Nationaltheater Mannheim.
His transition to voice work began in the mid-1990s following intensive microphone training. Since 2002, he has been active as a speaker for radio commercials and has worked extensively in the fields of dubbing, audio dramas, and video games. In addition to his performance work, he has also worked as a lecturer in Acting, Voice, and Communication in Bochum.
In anime dubbing, von Zambelly provides the German voice for Japanese characters. A notable example is his role as Nise Jogasaki in the 2017 film Night is Short, Walk On Girl, where he voices the character originally performed by Junichi Suwabe. His voice work is not limited to animation; he has also dubbed characters in live-action series and films.
Von Zambelly has a substantial body of work in German audio drama productions, particularly with the label Titania Medien.
