Sascha von Zambelly is an Austrian-German actor and voice artist. He was born in Vienna in 1968 and completed his training as an actor and theater specialist at the Theater in Cronenberg in Wuppertal, Germany. His early career was rooted in stage performance, with engagements at prominent theaters including the Schauspiel Essen, Theater Bielefeld, Theater Freiburg, and the Nationaltheater Mannheim.

His transition to voice work began in the mid-1990s following intensive microphone training. Since 2002, he has been active as a speaker for radio commercials and has worked extensively in the fields of dubbing, audio dramas, and video games. In addition to his performance work, he has also worked as a lecturer in Acting, Voice, and Communication in Bochum.

In anime dubbing, von Zambelly provides the German voice for Japanese characters. A notable example is his role as Nise Jogasaki in the 2017 film Night is Short, Walk On Girl, where he voices the character originally performed by Junichi Suwabe. His voice work is not limited to animation; he has also dubbed characters in live-action series and films.

Von Zambelly has a substantial body of work in German audio drama productions, particularly with the label Titania Medien. He has voiced numerous roles in their series Gruselkabinett and Sherlock Holmes, appearing in over 25 recordings between 2016 and 2021. These include parts in adaptations of classics such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The War of the Worlds, and The Invisible Man.

His voice is also featured in many notable video games. His credits include the role of Vlodomir von Everec in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Captain Benjamin Matthius in the Dead Space remake, the male Sorcerer in Diablo IV, and Dengar in Star Wars: Battlefront. Beyond his voice work, von Zambelly remains active in theater, and since 2018 has been a member of the interdisziplinary theater group artscenico.
