Tia
Description
Tia is a Japanese singer and voice actress who began her career in 2012. She was born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan on October 18, 1995. Her entry into the entertainment industry was facilitated by her activities as an utaite, or cover singer, on the video sharing website Niconico during her junior high school years. It was there that she was discovered by Ryo, the founder and composer of the prominent musical group Supercell, who was instrumental in launching her professional career.
Tia made her debut in both singing and voice acting in 2012. She provided the voice for the character Yuu in the anime series Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life and also performed its ending theme song, Love Me Gimme. This dual role established her presence in the anime industry from the outset. She continued to voice the same character, Yuu, in the subsequent series Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life: Awakening Arc and Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life: Dream Arc.
While her voice acting roles have been primarily associated with the Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life franchise, Tia has built a more extensive career as an anime theme song performer. Her early work was frequently produced by Ryo of Supercell. Following her debut, she gained wider recognition for singing theme songs for several major anime series. These include the ending themes Heart Realize for Noragami in 2014 and Nirvana for Noragami Aragoto in 2015, as well as The Glory Days, the second ending theme for Captain Earth in 2014. In 2017, she performed Deal with the devil, the opening theme for the popular series Kakegurui.
Her career has been marked by a close and recurring collaboration with producer Ryo, who wrote and composed several of her early singles. Her work has been released under different labels, initially with Aniplex and later with DIVE II entertainment following her high school graduation. Tia is also known for her association with other singers under the Supercell umbrella, such as Koeda and Chelly. Her debut and subsequent musical contributions have made her a recognizable voice in anime music, with a style and career path closely linked to the Supercell creative network.
