Emanuele Ruzza

Description
Emanuele Ruzza is an Italian voice actor born in Rome on November 2, 1986. He is active in dubbing for film, television, and animation, providing the Italian voices for a wide range of characters in both live-action and animated productions.

Ruzza has described the art of dubbing as an "opera altra," a separate work of art that is an imitation of the original performance, achieved through significant interpretative effort and vocal mimicry. He has also spoken about the importance of making films available in their original language to allow viewers a choice, framing it not as an intellectual preference but as a practical option for a diverse audience.

His extensive career in anime dubbing features several prominent roles. He voiced Tsukasa Fujii, one of Taki's friends, in the Makoto Shinkai film Your Name.. In the Vinland Saga anime, he is the voice of Ari, a member of Thors's old Viking company. He also took on the role of Major Iba in the series Sirius the Jaeger. For the English adaptation of the video game Dragon's Dogma, Ruzza voiced the protagonist, Ethan. Another notable performance is as Yozo Oba in the anime film Human Lost. He is the Italian voice of Rian Scrimgeour in The Ancient Magus' Bride and Erd Jinn in Attack on Titan Part 2 – Jiyuu no Tsubasa. He also voiced Sion Adel Bikrobute in the Lupin III special, Lupin III: Princess of the breeze ~Kakusareta Kūchū Toshi~. He is the voice of Haruki Izumo in Danbōru Senki Wars.

Ruzza notably voiced the protagonist Haruo Sakaki in the Netflix anime film trilogy Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, and Godzilla: The Planet Eater. It is worth noting that for the home video release of these films by Anime Factory, a different Italian dub was produced in which Ruzza also provided the voice for Haruo Sakaki, distinct from the version available on Netflix.

His other significant anime voice work includes Aichi Sendou in Cardfight!! Vanguard, Zeref in Fairy Tail, Sein in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Ryōji Kaji in the Netflix redub of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Neji Hyuga in the later episodes of Naruto Shippūden.
