Description
Chinkururi is the original creator behind the multimedia franchise Gacha Girls Corps. The project began as a web novel serialized by Chinkururi on the user-generated content platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō starting on January 25, 2016. Following its online success, the series was acquired for print publication, and Chinkururi wrote the light novel adaptation, which was published by Micro Magazine under their GC Novels imprint. The light novel series, illustrated by Yasutaka Isekawa, ran for nine volumes from November 30, 2016, to August 31, 2020.
Chinkururi is also credited as the original author of the manga adaptation of Gacha Girls Corps. The manga, illustrated by Syuu Haruno, began serialization in Micro Magazines online Comic Ride platform on March 30, 2018. The English version of the manga is licensed by Kaiten Books, which lists Chinkururi as the author of the series. The narrative follows a mobile game addict who is transported to another world where he can summon characters using a gacha mechanic, a premise that originated from Chinkururis initial web novel concept.
