Sei Fujimoto
Description
Sei Fujimoto is a Japanese manga artist and original creator born on October 2 in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. He made his professional debut in 1998 when an adult oneshot manga was published by France Shoin in the June edition of Papipo Gaiden.
Following his debut, Fujimoto shifted his work to Shinyusha and later its subsidiary MAX, with his later adult works being published by Core Magazine. Although he began his career as a doujin author and adult mangaka, he became better known for his non-adult works. His most significant manga is the yonkoma series Shiritsu Shuzenji Gakuen Koukou Housoubu, which was serialized in Manga Time Kirara. He has drawn several other yonkoma series for the same publication, all following the moe trend.
Fujimoto continues to produce adult works under the name of his doujin circle Yuusei Honpo.
In terms of anime adaptation history, Fujimoto is credited as the original work creator for the OVA Karakara-sama no Himitsu: Ten kara kita Megami, released in 2001. This work falls within the erotica genre. He also contributed as the original trading card game character designer for the television series Uchuu no Stellvia in 2003.
