Sakon Kaidō is a Japanese author best known as the creator of the light novel, manga, and anime franchise Infinite Dendrogram. Kaidō began writing the series as a web novel on the user-generated content platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2015. The story gained enough attention to be acquired by publisher Hobby Japan, which released the first volume of the light novel in print under its HJ Bunko imprint in November 2016. The light novel is illustrated by Taiki and, as of October 2024, has 22 volumes currently in publication.

An anime television series adaptation produced by studio NAZ aired 13 episodes from January to April 2020. Both the light novel and the main manga adaptation have been licensed for English release in North America by J-Novel Club.
