Rio Chavarro, also known as Hernan Andrio Chavarro, is a Miami-based voice actor and dialogue director with an extensive portfolio in English-language adaptations of Japanese anime. He has built a significant career voicing characters in numerous films and series, with a particularly long-standing association with the beloved children's franchise Soreike! Anpanman.

Chavarro is most prominently recognized for his consistent work within the Soreike! Anpanman series of animated films. He is the voice of the character Horror in the English-language versions of many movies in the franchise. His credits for this role span numerous titles, including Soreike! Anpanman: Yōsei Rinrin no Himitsu, Soreike! Anpanman Yomigaere Bananajima, Soreike! Anpanman: Happy no Daibōken, Soreike! Anpanman: Inochi no Hoshi no Dolly, Soreike! Anpanman: Ringo Bōya to Minna no Negai, Soreike! Anpanman Omocha no Hoshi no Nanda to Runda, Soreike! Anpanman: Shabondama no Purun, Soreike! Anpanman: Black Nose to Mahō no Uta, Soreike! Anpanman Kagayake! Kurun to Inochi no Hoshi, and Soreike! Anpanman Kirameke! Ice no Kuni no Vanilla-hime. In addition to voicing Horror, his work on the franchise also includes voicing other characters such as Taro Green Leaf in Happy no Daibōken and Robots in Kagayake! Kurun to Inochi no Hoshi.

Beyond his extensive voice acting in the Anpanman series, Chavarro has contributed his voice to other major anime properties. He is part of the cast for the 2023 English dub of the long-running series Case Closed, where he has voiced a wide variety of background and supporting characters, including Detective Okumura, Detective Sogawa, Hyoue Kuroda, and numerous other roles across many episodes. He also provided voices for the historical series Onihei, playing characters such as Genpachi and Kumehachi.

In addition to his on-microphone work, Rio Chavarro has an extensive career behind the scenes as a director. He served as the dialogue director for numerous Soreike! Anpanman films, including Kirameke! Ice no Kuni no Vanilla-hime, Kagayake! Kurun to Inochi no Hoshi, Omocha no Hoshi no Nanda to Runda, Inochi no Hoshi no Dolly, and Yōsei Rinrin no Himitsu. He also directed the 2022 anime film Eien no 831.
